Between God & His People
by Ck Thompson
[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly,
and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or
under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or
to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving].
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 Amplified
Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? Hebrews 13:5-6 Amplified
The Lord said He’s concerned about His children’s attitude about giving, especially in these difficult times on planet Earth. It’s crucial that ‘God & sons’ work together within the framework of Heaven’s economy.
Look at the interaction between God and a giver. First of all, giving is a heart issue: “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” You can tell what a person’s relationship with the Lord is like by their attitude toward giving. He uses finances to deal with our hearts about issues that seem unrelated to money.
Do we love what God loves? Do we seek first His Kingdom? Do we give out of a heart of love & generosity, in order to bring blessing to others? Or do we begrudge giving to God? Are we hard-hearted or fearful about it?
The Lord said: To the one with a poor attitude towards tithing… To the one with a critical spirit about giving… You are demonstrating fear in your relationship with God, lack of understanding of the ways of the Spirit, and you probably have trouble obeying God in other areas of your life too. God uses finances to deal with your heart about these things. This is not a condemnation message! God is trying to set you FREE.
He said: Open hand = Open heart. Closed hand = closed heart. (In Proverbs 31, the ‘virtuous woman’ as a picture of the bride of Christ opens her hand to the poor. She’s a giver.)
God is concerned about your giving because He wants you to step into His economy…. So He can supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. The riches are in the GLORY. When you encounter His Glory, it impacts your heart AND your finances!
And now is the Season for double harvest. The Lord says, Open your heart and prepare to RECEIVE of the riches He is releasing into the atmosphere. The Supernatural Anointing for Finances is a breaker anointing.
1. Speak out loud into the spiritual realm and command the finances you need to come to you.
2. Rebuke every demonic spirit that's been assigned by Satan to hinder your finances.
3. Ask God to send angels to gather your blessings and bring them to you.
4. Line up your mouth with your faith and don’t side with the devil against yourself with talk of lack, poverty & unbelief.
5. Be a tither – Develop an attitude of generosity. The ‘tithe’ is the tenth of your income. It belongs to God. Don't give the devil a door of entry by robbing God.
6. Serve the Lord with gladness and thanksgiving! The Lord loves to interact with a cheerful giver!
