What is God Saying in 2008?

God responds to the heart-cry of every generation.  He sends anointings to fulfill His Word – which lives and abides forever – and to keep the personal Covenant promises He’s made to His people over the years. 

Because of This, God Works in Times & Seasons…

…Releasing new anointings and emphasizing specific ministries and blessings.  Why?  Even though His Word never changes, we live in a world of constant flux.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.  (John 16:33)

In order to stay true to His Word, God shifts things in the spirit with each new generation or new challenge.  This is not a response to what the devil is doing.  But rather, it’s God staying one step ahead of the enemy!

Each new season counteracts the enemy’s attack on the last season.  Each new move of God opens an evangelistic door that is effective in reaching the next generations.

The End-Time Transfer of Wealth has Begun

This year God is purposely releasing an anointing for fruitfulness and prosperity on the Body of Christ.  …The wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. (Proverbs 13:22)

      It is the year of the “Open Gate.”  The heavens are open.  God Himself has commanded this – the anointing for supernatural finances.

For many years, there’s been a “disconnect” between God and His people in the area of finances.  The spirit of Religion caused many strongholds to be built up in hearts.

False humility, pride, shame, embarrassment, and financial fear kept many men and women of God in the dark.  Religion blinded the eyes of their understanding about money.

In the same way, there was a disconnect about healing for several centuries. During the Dark Ages, the Bible was hidden away from the people. They had no light – no revelation of God’s Word. 

It took several generations to restore the message of healing – the understanding that it really is God’s will.  Healing is included in Jesus’ finished work on the cross.

And now the Lord is restoring the revelation of His will regarding finances.  This is a covenant matter that He takes quite seriously. God is initiating it into the lives of His children who are willing to receive it.  It is a new season, financially.

Don’t close your heart to this message! We’re talking about ‘money with an assignment.’ Money for souls. The Gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth, and it takes godly finances to do so. 

In order to qualify for this end-time transfer of wealth, you must be fully committed to Jesus and His purposes. Seek first the kingdom of God. Care about what He cares about.  It’s not for personal gain, but to establish His covenant in the earth. 

The Call to Sonship

       The sons of God are being called to rise up and take their position as true, unashamed sons.  It is an authority issue.  All of Creation has been ‘travailing together’ for this time. (Romans 8:22)  The earth itself is waiting for us to walk in the authority that comes with sonship.  (This is not about gender.  It’s about spiritual position.)

First and foremost, God is calling for true sons who will serve Him with all of their hearts.  Humble and teachable, sons who will respect Him and make it their life’s passion to imitate and please the Father.  Doing what they see Him do, and saying what they hear Him say.

The second part of this is:  The call to sonship regarding spiritual fathers here on earth. ‘…You have not many fathers.’ (I Cor.4:15)   It’s important to align yourself with a spiritual father.  (And not every preacher is a father.)

You need to hear this with your spiritual ears:  God anoints men and women. 

God does not anoint organizations.  In the Word of God, you never see God anoint a church board, a denomination, or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

Never!

God anoints PEOPLE.  (When you see an anointed organization, you’re seeing the anointing on the people in authority there.)

The spirit of Religion disdains this.  You’ve probably heard, ‘Those people are just following a personality. They should be loyal to their church.’ 

No, people are not just following a personality.  They’re recognizing and following an anointing.  They are spiritual sons following a spiritual father! 

And if you’re wise, you’ll do the same thing.  It’s completely scriptural.  And yes, it flies in the face of Religion.  Buts it’s God’s way.  (Besides,  if you do that, then you will be loyal to your church.)

When Elijah threw his mantle over Elisha, Elisha knew what it meant.  It was an invitation into sonship.  He even went back and said goodbye to his earthly father (meaning his plans for his life.)  He accepted the invitation to be a spiritual son.

After that, Elisha followed Elijah all over the place.  To the very end, even when the sons of the prophets came and said, ‘Don’t you know he’s leaving you?’ 

He told them to hush!  ‘Don’t talk to me about it.  I’m following the prophet of God – my father.’

When he saw the prophet go up in a whirlwind, he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!  (2 Kings 2:12)

At that point he received a DOUBLE PORTION of Elijah’s spirit.  The anointing on Elijah did not diminish when he left.  It became twice as powerful.

The only way to keep an anointing going in your life is to become a son.  A ‘son’ to the apostle and prophet in your life.  Humble.  Teachable.  Willing to learn and willing to serve.

God’s calling His people to align themselves with spiritual fathers, so they can learn the ways of the Spirit.  And to receive a double portion to carry to the next generation.

It’s important who you align yourself with.  The anointing on them will get on you.  You better make sure it’s an anointing you want flowing in your life!

This is also the year of Increased Angelic Activity on your behalf

When Jacob saw the ladder with the angels ascending & descending, he called it the gate of heaven. (Gen. 28:17)  When he returned to that spot 20 years later, the angels of God met him there. (Gen. 32:1)

In this season, the heavens are open to you.  The gate of heaven is open!  Regarding your God-given assignment, the angels are meeting you as you return to the place of your calling.  It is a season of perfecting, developing, and building.

Some of you will find that your current assignment has come to completion. The Lord will instruct you of your next step.  In fact, He's already painting a different picture in your heart, and it was perhaps confusing at first.  But do finish your current assignment, and then step up to the next.

He's calling you up.  UP. Look up! Step up!  You are advancing upon new levels, and now you are released to do it with greater strength and joy and freedom than you've ever had before.

Angelic activity!  You are going to have super-natural help in your calling.  Even when people bail on you, the angels will help you accomplish your job.

So continue to be blessed and press on toward the upward call of God!

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  (Phil. 3:14)

These are Days of Destiny

There are many voices clamoring for your attention right now.  Make the decision to follow God and His Word. 

Don’t be tossed about by every wind of doctrine.  Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord’ is from God.  Jesus will never tell you anything that doesn’t line up with God’s Word. 

He said, My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  (John 10:27)   &
