The Susan Donnell Prayer
Pavilion
Susan Lee Donnell
went home to be with the Lord on
Monday, April 14, 2008, after a courageous and inspirational battle with
cancer in Klamath Falls, Oregon at
the age of 51.
A memorial service
was held in her honor on Friday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Word of Life
World Outreach Church, Pastor Mike & Cheryl Thompson officiating.
She was deeply
connected to the Word of Life Church, where she was a
dedicated intercessor and "prayer warrior," using the healing power of
prayer to benefit others. To

Susan specifically asked that memorial donations be made in her name, to
Word of Life's building fund. Pastor Mike & Cheryl decided to take
it a step further and name the 24-hr. prayer room after Susan, because of
her dedication to prayer. She understood our God-given vision, and she
and Rob helped us pray for Klamath Falls regularly. She selflessly prayed for others, even at the end of her
journey here. She was a powerful prayer partner, and even more.... she was
a dear friend.
We could think of nothing more appropriate than to name the 24-hour Prayer
Pavilion after Susan.
The architectural site-plan and artist's rendering of the pavilion will be
published on this page as soon as possible.
