The Season of the Apostle and Prophet

Understanding the Season We're In

Note from Cheryl: Mike always called himself a Pastor/ Teacher. But I’ve known in my heart for years that he was also an Apostle/ Prophet. In 2006, the Lord “turned the page” on us. Our new season had suddenly begun!

Restoring the Apostle and Prophet

In order to oversee His body, the Lord Jesus has given the gifts of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. These are the five-fold office ministries, “For the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry…” (Eph.4:11-12)

It’s the government of God. We’re helping Jesus care for His body. And even though some people can teach, they’re not necessarily in the office of the Teacher. Some people can prophesy, but it doesn’t mean they are Prophets. You see how that works.

But the church world, for many centuries, has only recognized the Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. And more recently, we knew the Lord was restoring and raising up the Prophet.

But the Lord instructed us more clearly that He is restoring the Apostle and Prophet. In order for the saints to be truly equipped for these last days, the Apostle and Prophet must take their positions.

Now Is the Time for the Prophets to Arise

Up until now, if anyone was bold enough to call himself a Prophet, he was just the kook in the mountains somewhere. But the Lord said, Now is the time for the Prophets to arise! He’s bringing credibility and authority to the prophetic ministry.

In fact, the Lord spoke to Cheryl while sitting in church on a Wednesday night. “I’ve called you to be a Prophet and it’s time for you to take your position.” That was about three years ago.

Then He spoke to Mike on 5-7-2006: “It’s time to rise up and take your position and put on that mantle, because it takes those gifts to complete what God is doing on this planet.

“We’re coming up on the culmination of all things, and He cannot do it without the Apostle and the Prophet taking their place in confidence and boldness. Whether the church world likes it or not. Whether Pharisee likes it or not. Pharisee is the biggest persecutor of the Apostle, and especially of the Prophet.

“Stand up and take your place. Who cares if they persecute you? They’re doing it anyway because of the prophetic anointing that’s on you. Take up the mantle and be who you are. Put it on and walk in it.”

The Call to Walk in Your Destiny

These are days of destiny for God’s children. Sometimes you think your own destiny doesn’t matter. But it does. Souls are in the balance, whether you fulfill what God’s called you to do.

God is resurrecting broken dreams. He’s fulfilling promises you may have even forgotten about. It’s a Covenant issue and it matters to Him. So it’s important to stay connected to His Word and walk by what you see in your heart.

Realize the seriousness of the hour. Time is short. Eternity is at stake for so many!

The Overlap Period

We’re coming up on the culmination of all things. We’re on the “cusp.” We’re in the overlap period between the Church Age and eternity itself.

Just like when Jesus walked the earth. They were in the overlap period between the Old Covenant and the New. They were still in the Old Covenant, but they were able to “tap into” the blessings of the New.

Likewise, we’re still in the current dispensation, but eternity is overlapping. We can now tap into things – we can reach into eternity and lay hold of blessings – that no other generation could lay hold of. We can walk in it by faith now. The sons of God are rising up.

No other generation has been able to do this!

Note there is opposition from the Religious spirit in the church world. It is anti- the move of God’s Spirit. You know, it grieves His heart that some of His own children just don’t get it. They still don’t understand the ways of the Spirit.

That’s why God is raising us up as a counter-culture to mainstream “church-ism.” We’re not part of the traditional religious system.

Special Anointings & the Prophet’s Reward

Realize also, it’s time for supernatural youth and supernatural finances to flow. God has already sent these two breaker anointings to preserve His people supernaturally in this season. They are part of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for this generation.

So we want to say to you: When you give an offering to this ministry, that’s what you’re giving into. It is the season for the Prophet’s reward. It has been cranked up! It’s a supernatural breaker anointing. Expect it and look for it.

These anointings will usher in the last great revival and the second coming of the Lord. And we cry Maranatha, Lord Jesus! Come soon! Amen! &
